Your Smile Journey Starts Here

We make your first orthodontic visit simple, clear, and reassuring, with expert care at every step. At Bankstown Orthodontics, we want your experience to feel relaxed and informative from the very beginning. Your first visit with Dr Roberts is designed to give you clarity and confidence.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your consultation includes a detailed examination, photos, digital scans, X-rays and time to discuss the best time for treatment. During this 45-minute appointment, Dr Roberts will examine your teeth, bite, and jaw alignment.

Photographs will be taken, and if you are ready for treatment, then digital scans and X-rays will also be taken. If treatment is recommended, a follow-up appointment will be arranged to present your personalised treatment plan and costs in writing.

We recommend you see your dentist for regular check-ups. At these appointments, your dentist may identify issues when they arise and refer you or your child to us. Alternatively, if you have concerns about the alignment of the teeth or the bite, a referral is not essential, and Dr Roberts can see you or your child for a consultation.

After braces are fitted, adjustment appointments are typically every 6–8 weeks. For treatments that do not involve braces, appointment intervals will vary. We offer before and after school times for convenience.
